DIY Video Synthesis Workshops

Flyer for a DIY video synthesis workshop with James Connolly at the Experimental Sound Studio

Beginning with the 2010 GLI.TC/H festival in Chicago, I have regularly given workshops on DIY video synthesis that incorporate the hacked VGA cable I use to drive my RGB.VGA.VOLT system. I have given this workshop at a wide range of venues and galleries, including the Currents New Media Festival, the Experimental Sound Studio, the Taos Paseo Festival, and many others.

The design for my hacked VGA cable has changed over the years, and most recently uses solderless d-sub terminals. A slide show presentation from a recent workshop can be seen online, with the workshop starting on slide 58.
